Welcome to Forbes Feet

We knew you would find us eventually as foot care is becoming something for everyone. We are a small team and treat a wide range of patients from children to the elderly, diabetics and arthritic patients, to the everyday walker to the very athletic who trains regularly.

A Podiatrist / Chiropodist is a specialist of the foot, ankle and lower limb. Patients are often referred by their Surgeon or physican, GP, physiotherapist/osteopath or other healthcare professional but can self-refer if they feel they would benefit from one of the services offered by the clinic.

What is Chiropody/Podiatry ?

What is the difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist? There really is no difference. The term chiropody has been traditionally used in the UK for many years, whereas podiatry is recognised internationally.

The titles Chiropodist and Podiatrist are protected under the Health Professions Order 2001 and it is a criminal offence to use either title unless you are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.

Clearanail® – a simple solution to a complex problem.

Clearanail is an innovative, brand-new concept, which has been developed using the latest technological advances.

Micro pathways are made through the nail plate - without penetrating the nail bed. This creates deeper access into the areas of infection rather than just the surface of the nail, for the subsequent application of a topical treatment solution. This in turn leads to clearing of the infection in a shorter time.

Claire is the fourth foot specialist that I have visited in Jersey and I would say she is the best I have seen. I have suffered from lower back pain for many years which I had not realised was linked to high arches in my feet. As a result of consultations with Claire and resulting orthotic insertions into my shoes my condition has dramatically improved. Claire is extremely professional and takes much pleasure in helping her clients.
